Early Career Psychiatrist

Please join the Massachusetts Psychiatric Society Early Career Psychiatrist group on Tuesday, March 28 from 7:00 – 8:30 PM. Our speaker will be Dr. Steven Locke, MD, DLFAPA, a McLean trained psychiatrist, who completed a fellowship in psychosomatic medicine and biobehavioral sciences research at Boston University. He has worked with BIDMC for the majority of his career, with leadership in psychosomatic medicine and C/L psychiatry. Dr. Locke will be speaking on his career pathway and expertise in Hallucinogen Persisting Perception Disorder (HPPD), which has a prevalence of 2-4% among users of psychedelic drugs and can occur in young adults after as few as one or two exposures to psychedelic drugs.
