Please join us for the MPS Psychiatry & Law and Public Sector joint Committee meeting on Wednesday, February 7, from 6:00-7:30 pm via Zoom Videoconferencing for a Legislative Update and Review of the past year. Lisa Simonetti, MPS' esteemed Massachusetts legislative strategist will be discussing many of the legislative efforts that MPS is supporting. Dr. Adeliza Olivero and Dr. Hannah Larsen will be discussing their work on drafting testimony for the Crisis Intervention legislation. Dr. Jhilam Biswas will discuss the history and MPS efforts in supporting the Assisted Outpatient Treatment bill and the Timely Treatment bill (bills sponsored by Senator Cindy Friedman) and her experience testifying to the legislature and working on possible solutions outside of promoting the bills.
